Either way there'd be a transfer fee involved and, like ourselves, Wakefield would be one of the clubs I'd least expect to be mentioned when it comes to actually buying players, especially one as promising as Ratchford.

Things that suggest that he is going:
Wakefield look like losing Brough to Huddersfield so they could do with a half-back.
Lewis Palfrey is making it into the 19 man squad (possibly to get some game time so he can take Ratchford's place next season?)
Ratchford can't be happy playing centre when he and everybody else knows he is our best option at stand-off.
It wouldn't surprise me if McRae lets him go/sells him.
