Not strange at all, if he hadn't of nailed the drop goal in the mpg we could've lost it due to missed conversions.
As you say he isn't consistent enough, Carney is a goal kicker but where do you put him with Lui playing so well?

At different times, I noticed both Lui and Dobson limping during the Wakey game: they seemed to get over it but worrying symptoms. So Carney may be needed sooner than later.
