Quote: Salford 1961 "Last night epitomized Salfords Kicking Game. From the Kick off we kick to exactly the same position every time. No variation so the opposition know exactly where the ball's going and how to set up. We changed it once last night and won the ball back even though the opposition must have known what we were going to do as we changed kicker.
Why did we not do that when we were only 6 points down??
The short kicking game was exactly the same, up in the air and mainly too long to compete for the ball. The one time we did compete for the ball we won it back. We desperately need some variation!
On a positive Gaz O'Brien's goal kicking was superb.'"
The fitness is a big question
Watson must know is days at Salford are limited
Carney was lucky he did not turn a yellow card to red.
