| If Salford cut out a lot of the errors, I think they should have reasonable chances against both Wakefield and Wigan.
Leeds you have to be tetchy about, even given their poor form. But here is some food for thought. Leeds walloped us 70–6 at Headingley last Summer, so here is hoping that wounding is still fresh in the memory with many of the players wanting their revenge. Another thing is that league doubles are, for us against them, as rare as hen’s penises nevermind teeth.
I’ve only had a quick look so feel free to shoot me down but it appears that Salford might have only ever done the league double against Leeds four times, the last being in 1946 when Salford squeaked the home game 6–5. The closest since then was in the 1957–58 season when the fixture at Headingley ended 25-a-piece, and in 1977 where after Salford had won at Headingley, the match at The Willows was abandoned after a fatality and never replayed.
Those three other occasions were during the 1913–14, 1932–33 and 1935–36 seasons. Notably, Salford were crowned league champions in two of those campaigns.
A place in folklore beckons for our lads.

| Fully agree about Leeds as they are due to improve. I also am now getting despondently sick of the series of clubs whose losing streak is turned into a winning run after playing Salford!
Disagree re Wakefield Trinity as they are a good side playing for each other: my pre-season statement that they were going to do well seems to be coming true under their new coach. I feel we need to impose on their pack; I am not sure we can do this for the full 80 minutes. Prove me wrong, fellahs.
Wigan: which Wigan will turn up? And will the ref protect our players from Wane's tactical bruising?

| TBH I think we're gonna be bottom 4 Bar the points deduction being reduced. I just wanna see us going back to how we were playing at the start of the season with some consistancy . We seem to be up and down at the mo, although not been totally thumped BAR the 1st match
