I can accepted bad games from us like the Catalan game but that on Saturday was just awful to watch. The first half n hour we dropped the ball or we gave a penalty's away. As much as i rate Sau and Josh Griffin going forward, they cant defend at all. I was looking forward to the Leeds game thinking this is the best chance to beat them at home but after watching that i dont think we will now.

I agree totally with your post, I believe we will continue to be inconsistent throughout the season due to the depth of our squad. When & if we get a full starting 13 on the pitch I believe we can compete with any team, losing Tommy Lee, Robert Lui, coupled with the loss of Craig Kopczak, Greg Johnson & still to play Weller Hauraki & Daniel Vidot without mentioning the savagery inflicted on of MCB last week it was not too surprising we did not quite have the quality to finish off Wakefield.

I believe We are not in a position to be a top 8 team, I expect us to once again to compete in the bottom 4 play offs at the end of the season, however this does not mean we are not making progress because we are.
I cannot believe Ian Watson & Tim Sheens are coming under pressure already, they both delivered in the eights last season & have played an existing brand of rugby when the right players were on the pitch.
Finally I understand supporters frustrations at both the Catalans & Wakefield results but have you forgot we should have had at least a point at Wigan & should have beaten Warrington on the day.

No issue with Ian Watson at all, done a good job thus far cheaper budget than either Noble or Harris had to work with.

We should have beaten Wakefield on Saturday too. How many opportunities did the players want/need? Difference between the two was Wakefield were clinical with their breaks/chances whereas we squandered them.

Gunner, the Warrington game we turned up for forty minutes, the same against Widnes but we held on just. So the St Helens, Warrington, Wigan, Widnes, and Castleford games were justifiable performances, however, Hull, Hull KR, Catalans, Huddersfield, and Wakefield were embarrassingly not. Getting beaten I can swallow, but winning and losing in an unethical manner to Hull, Hull KR, Catalans, Huddersfield, and Wakefield I struggle to swallow. Players attitudes and desire should never come into question. They're Non-negotiables at most clubs, yet condoned here.

Please explain. I cannot remember us beating or losing to a team by underhand methods (this season - before Hudd fans come on about cannonball tackles

). Also I read the various comments as reasons not excuses. The joy with watching any sport is that you cannot predict. So do not expect perfection.

With regards to expecting perfection, that is simply not the case, unlike you, I expect all the moral values to be met where attitude, aptitude, and desire are [uNOT[/u left wanting collectively which are immoral in Rugby League terms, get with the times HillBilly Red we're not in the 70's anymore where a Woodbine and a pint was the half-time refreshments. I am confused by your answer. To me ethics refer to two possibilties:
1 that county where young things are noted for hair lacqer and fake tans
2 how morality is practised: I dare you to state to the players that that they are immoral.

As for the distinction between RL and "true life form" ,

, I must have drank too much before matches and believed that what I saw on the meadow was true to life. Oh well, at least now I can relax knowing it is all an illusion. Benthamite ethics at their best.
