A total of £855 was raised in a day and a half. Donations had to stop online in order to withdraw the money and have it available in time for the Leeds game next Saturday.
Should have confirmation from the players which charity or charities they are going to donate to in the next day or so.
Great effort from Salford fans and the wider rugby league community.
As a Giants fan who was at the game I just wanted to say excellent gesture and excellent way to show those who caused the incident are not the true Salford fans.
