| Pretty simple really.9 mins each half, 5 tackles instead of 6, nine players on the pitch, tap 10 metres in front when you're awarded a penalty, conversions are dropped kicked,

| I've watched all of the NRL 9's and it is one hell of a spectacle, for me Magic weekend would be much better if it was a 9's event, all SL teams with 4 invited teams. Say Lancs, Yorks and overseas players from the lower leagues and maybe PNG or something like that.
Pretty sure someone like the Doc marketing that would be a brilliant job and raise the profile of the game no end.

| I'm a bit stuck in the middle, I think the Magic Weekend is a great concept and has undoubtedly been a success for the sport. I would however love to see another trophy up for grabs, losing the Regal trophy and Lancashire cup has always been a massive shame. 2 trophies is simply not enough to play for, we need more competitions!
There's no doubt in my mind that a 9s tournament would attract a sell out crowd for both days because you could have every team playing games on both days and have more clubs participate in the completion to begin with.
Have a £250k first prize for the winning club. If I was the RFL I would just try it at the Etihad next year, if it doesn't work simply revert back to the Magic Weekend.

| I attended the Auckland 9's last month and it was just fantastic entertainment over both days in a great atmosphere, helped by the fact that the NZ Warriors went all the way to the final . I enjoyed it much more than the Magic Weekend because of the group format and the short game times. The format also meant that all teams featured on both days, unlike the Magic Weekend, where your team only appears once over the whole weekend which in the past has prompted me just to get a day ticket for the Salford game . I opted for both days at the 9's and never once got fed up. I think a SL 9's would be a great event.
