Gaz has instigated a meeting for fans to attend to look at supporting the Salford academy. It is on Wednesday 24th February at 7-30pm, it will be held at Salford stadium (AJ Bell) on 1st floor in the players lounge. He wants to explain why they need some fundraising & hopes fans will be interested.
He has asked coaches from the 16'& 19's to attend & bring a couple of the players with them, Tim Sheens, Watto & Russ McFarlane will attend & also Robert Lui, Dan Vidot & Ben M.M will also be there.
They have started making pathways into the 1st team squad now, & hopefully with support from fans they can introduce more from the academy in the future.
The meeting is open for anybody to attend & if anyone has any fundraising ideas they will be happy to listen to them

An update on Gaz Carvell's request to support the Academy, who incidentally had a fantastic win at weekend.
There is already a Supporters Trust, Forever Reds, which has been dormant over the last 2/3 years, but due to Gaz's interest, fans are looking at resurrecting & rebranding the Trust, as it is an official body, to assist the Academy.
If anybody is interested in getting involved you will be more than welcome, & a new committee will be formed.
Still looking at having a get together after the Catalans game on Good Friday to discuss what we, as fans can do to help the Academy,

Thanks for the update, I'm definitely up for being involved, however, due to location and other commitments, cannot be considered as a potential main committee member.

Won't be there on Good Friday as up in God's Country with the junior devils, but look forward to hearing more!!
