I'm obviously in the minority of one on here but based on Wigan performance I'd have O'Brien at FB instead of Evalds. He didn't put a foot wrong, was solid under the high ball, linked up well with the halves, got play out wide quickly & returned well, we didn't concede a point when he was on against a stronger Wigan side than the one that we conceded 16 against. Evalds was poor when he came on, in particular for the first try. Before the Wigan game it wouldn't have even entered my head to not play Evalds but then again I don't think he should be in the side just based on last year. Again it's only my opinion and is subjective but I was really impressed with O'Brien against Wigan. If he doesn't start I could see him being on the bench instead of a forward with Tommy Lee being more than able to play at 13 to accommodate both Tomkins & O'Brien. Just my opinion.

Good support from you guys tonight, maybe the best I have seen at Hull from Salford in many a year. Silly not to play Evalds, o brien did ok, but you could tell he wasn't s FB and even in his short time on the wing, he looked to have class about him.

Impressed with Sau and BBM, both were a handful. Bad night to play Hull and hopefully we might finally kick on this year.

Your number 11 looks a beast and will trouble a lot of other teams packs

If you can get in another similar forward you won't be too far off, atm you look top heavy in your backs and they offered nothing hardly for 60 minutes

Disagree about Lui, expect big things from him this season but thought he was poor. Was also expecting him to injure his neck as his tackling technique was woeful.

Didn't go last night credit to those who did. I will wait until the saints game before I make a judgement on the team however I do fear to worse with Ian Watson in charge. I hope I'm wrong about the lad but would much prefer Rowley or sheens as my head coach
