He signed a contract with the WWE from 2 years time. Guessing this deal was already in place when that happened. He's a big lad and will no doubt want to continue to get bigger. Concern for me for Salford would be will his heart be in it? Given he knows in 2 years he needs to be fit to go into the WWE (where he'll make a future for himself). Likely the reason Brisbane let him go?

If he does get a contract in WWE, it'll do us no harm ... the WWE concept is big. Imagine he being spoken off as ex-Salford Rugby League. This is publicity that could be very valuably used.

Today's Metro (née Mail) had this phrase: "Chev walker ...has been named as assistant coach at Bradford ... to succeed former Salford boss Karl Harrison." Mr Harrison has done a lot as well ... but the sports writer focused on this area of his career. It does no harm to get a mention in any paper. Even as little as this.
