He signed a contract with the WWE from 2 years time. Guessing this deal was already in place when that happened. He's a big lad and will no doubt want to continue to get bigger. Concern for me for Salford would be will his heart be in it? Given he knows in 2 years he needs to be fit to go into the WWE (where he'll make a future for himself). Likely the reason Brisbane let him go?

If he does get a contract in WWE, it'll do us no harm ... the WWE concept is big. Imagine he being spoken off as ex-Salford Rugby League. This is publicity that could be very valuably used.
Today's Metro (née Mail) had this phrase: "Chev walker ...has been named as assistant coach at Bradford ... to succeed former Salford boss Karl Harrison." Mr Harrison has done a lot as well ... but the sports writer focused on this area of his career. It does no harm to get a mention in any paper. Even as little as this.
So imagine the impact of WWE comment.

53 tries in 110 NRL games , not a bad hit rate .
has been a first choice wing and on occasion Centre for Canberra, St George & lately Brisbane , looks to lost his 1st choice wing position in the Brisbane side to Corey Oates, A back rower who Bennett promoted to wing !
Corey has since signed an long term deal , and I guess then Vidot knew he was on the outer .

Yeah no doubt Vidot will have to remain fit and strong to compete in the WWE...despite many people's perception because its not classed as a real sport and scripted ..WWE athletes are incredibally fit..imagine how strong you need to be to hoist the Big show or Lesner up?.....reminds me of when I dated a girl off Tootal drive many years ago...she was a big unit and loved cake |
