Quote: Mike87 "When a club has the option to sign a player that means they have a first refusal, it happened when we signed Griffin from hudds, we loaned him with an option of a permanent deal and we took up the option, we had the option to have Cory paterson for an extra year and didn't take it, so it can go either way, but trust me when a club have an option in a deal that means it's exclusive the the club who already have the player on loan, Scott Taylor this year signed a one year loan but with no option to sign permanent because he knew he wanted to leave and go to Hull, if Carney was going to be on open sale after the loan period they wouldn't bother putting in an option for a permanent deal in the contract in the first place.'"

There is no mention of first-refusal here which is what you seem to be confusing with 'option to sign'.
Carney 100% wont be at Salford in 2017. You sound like you're trying to convince yourself.
