Sale Sharks are owned by an equally wealthy person, who has more history of property development (owns Edgely Park where Sale moved from)in the NW than Marwan. He secured naming rights, shop etc so you would assume if there was a cheap deal to be had he would also be in the running.
Personally I think Peel take a long term investment option on everything so there is no chance they will sell the stadium at a loss knowing that the area is only going to increase in value. Salford Council may sell if they got their money back, but I guess they will take advice from Peel and hold on. Either way, neither of them are going to sell it "on the cheap"
•Recent SMC accounts show they have bought the Wights waste disposal site from the administrators. They are buying land, not selling off on the cheap. Just my opinion though
