I only managed to attend 9 home games last season so having 2 VIP STs (one as spare for friends/family/business associates) where the spare was only used about 6 times, was a complete waste of money for me
Love the club, want to support it, but refusing to renew, even at the discounted price as that will still be £80 more than last year for 2 VIPs - not a snob but when taking people to entice into becoming regulars or sponsors, the match day experience needs to be slightly better than just turning up for a game, sitting in a stand and going home

No disrespect to anyone who enjoys the South Stand or normal seating, but I need the finer atmosphere the VIP gives, especially after a heavy defeat!!!!

Fair do's they have acted but only after people have said hey hang on you said those of us who paid for free games would be rewarded next season, in essence we wouldn't have been, there was no plan to do so initially, so to me it would still have been another broken promise from the club.

What happened to the hot tubs on the roof of the casino from where one could watch the matches? Or Maurice Lindsay's promise of hot weather and barbeques if we went to Summer rugby? Or free beer?
Life is so unfair to we RL fans. Constantly let down.
And the game's getting worse ... watching the current world cup: why aren't the refs penalising all thge obstruction at the play the ball? Bet we get the same refs at the A J Bell.
And our nickname got pinched ... you know by that lot at Aldershot. I could go on.

Understand your point, this should have been the plan from the outset BUT they’ve listened to fans concerns, not just about the pricing, but also the closure of the East Stand in lieu of the South Stand and addressed them within 24 hours. For that, I think they deserve some praise for their swift action.

No shame in admitting your wrong (which the club were) and doing something about to change it.

I personally think the season ticket is quite good value.

If we play 14 home games this season it works out at just over £16 a game. If we play 15, it's exactly £15 a game.

Especially when you consider matchday admission is now £24.

So as a season ticket holder for the East Stand I can't renew mine, I have to go back to the West now or run the risk of sitting at the end of the stand.

The club should have consulted fans before the announcements, we have a fans board which either doesn't reflect the average fan or simply wasn't consulted. We seem to lurch from one PR disaster to another.

I know I will miss at least 2 games so not sure it is worth to buy it

And,if they had,they'd have had half a a dozen different opinions.
