| What's everyone's predictions for Salford in 2016?
Will we make the top 8 before the split or will we be lingering in the bottom 8's fighting for our lives again?
For what its worth I think we'll be very similar to last year. I'm saying
I think our squad has less quality and start names than last year but has more grafters and professionals. Gone are the mercenaries and thankfully the Kiwi clique at the club now seems to have been broken up.
I think it will be harder in the middle 8's though as Championship clubs will now know better how to prepare for it throughout the season. Leigh look stronger with new signings and more experience. Sheffield are now full time as well. Halifax better financial grounding now and London more adapted to Championship life. Bradford will always be there or there abouts. With this in mind id ideally like to avoid middle 8's but I can't see us making top 8.
Fixtures are out now and season probably couldnt have started worse. Tough fixture away at Hull FC who if we have any chance of making top 8 we will have to compete with. This is followed by our annual second game of season drubbing by Saints at home in front of TV cameras. With East stand being closed and Sky Cameras pointing directly at it whilst we get a drubbing it wont bode well for any wavering fans wondering whether they want to follow the team this year.
Anyway, after this we'll hopefully string a few wins together and get some momentum. Here's to 2016!

| In all honesty I'd see 7th or 8th, can't see Cas keep reaching the heights that they have done and get the feeling that one of the big 4 will struggle next year, if I was a gambler I'd take an each way bet on Catalan being there or there abouts (if they can keep Carney fit and out of strife).

| we know exactly WHERE we will finish in 2016 at the end of the standard season .
at the AJ Bell Stadium..........
About 9.30Pm on July 22nd at Home against Hull FC
when we had a ' mega bucks side ' the pundits had us finishing 6th - 7th, and we finished 10th - 11th
Now with a 'Lidl- Priced ' squad I'm more comfortable with being written off as basement fodder.
It's a while before the 5th Feb 2016 , longer til next July .

Some people say it is better value at Lidl.

74477_1446573432.jpg In my lexicon, NASA stands for: Nazi And Space Actor. If you ever ensued to start poking around NASA the Apollo moon landings, a keen eye & open mind will bring you to the conclusion that it was a staged hoax. In fact the pure hard scientific evidence & analysis irrevocably reveals the fraud among many. Think about it, the greatest feat accomplished by man is an elaborate Hollywood production that cost the US taxpayer a cool 30 billion. Imagine what JC could create with that, it pisses me off more that NASA has built up a money-sucking colossus composed of lies, hoaxes and misinformation. The US taxpayer derives virtually no benefit from NASA'S existence & alleged scientific contributions derived by supposed explorations & experiments in space. Absent of any other sources to verify, we have had to prostate ourselves to the so-called "experts" despite irrefutable evidence that NASA's nothing more than an elaborate financial embezzler & pseudoscience peddler:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_74477.jpg |

| I think I'll reserve judgment until all is unveiled with what Sheen's has up his sleeve with other signings. Imho I feel that better quality in a playing sense has gone out than what's been replaced so far. But Sheen's is no mug and will know the quality of player he needs. I believe they're saving a slice of the cap in case of the dreaded misfortune of reaching the middle 8's again, which to me sounds sensible.

| I'm just happy if we have a team who want to play for Salford. If we finish in the bottom four again, then that's fine and we have to show that we are good enough to stay up.
