As this 'interesting' season draws to an end, how do the club and supports improve our lot?

U19's was a sucsess

MK on Twitter less so but lets not completly demonises his PR potential for the club.

new players? same probs? long term planning def. but need to aim for top 8 surley so need a few experience heads in too, yes?

And finally what can the supporters do to increase our numbers? how can we sell our team to friends, families.... the family at the end of your street? we need to be a part of building this club. what ideas do we have?

Simplest way is to get the on field performance right, no good one good result followed by crap. I have no doubt if Sheens stays then this will be the case, ok we might not be the entertainers but you just know with his imput things will be much more steady.

In the NRL I follow the Broncos and was reading an article that since Wayne Bennett has returned he has shunned from the trend in RL of quick line speed and wrestling in the tackle, he instills a straight defensive line and good solid tackles, anyone who watches the NRL knows that this has worked wonders for them and I'd like too see Salford look at this, regimented defence often does more to win games than Globetrotter attack.

As for recruitment I have faith in what Sheens is doing, he has obviously seen we have attracted too many egos to the club, I think there will be a drive to recruit some decent younger hungry British players, NRL imports who will buy into that ethos rather than treat the club as a cash cow in need of daily milking.

I think something of great importance is who the head coach is, I don't think that we should look to make Sheens the coach as I think he will be use to the club as DOR, if it is Watson then Sheens must be used to mentor him (along with Gleeson), though Watson has done well long term I'm not convinced, I'd mush rather see an experienced strong coach who will cut off the old Salford trouble of cliques and behind the scenes issues - If only the Doc could get a Craig Bellamy or Des Hasler then I would be properly chuffed.
