I personally would play Josh Wood, give him a chance to do more minutes than against Warrington earlier in the season. Hopefully we have enough in our pack for our backs and hooker to create opportunities. Putting a forward/Hooker at stand off is a waste.

I've no idea what Woods capabilities are but experience is surely the key against a motivated Halifax side

Playing a forward (Paterson/Griffin/Hauraki) is the halves has been proven not to be the answer. Makes no sense for Junior not to be playing (unless he's injured), you then have the option of moving Evalds to 6 , BJB to 1, Griffin/Johnson on the wings and Thornley/Sau in the centres.

Sau is not named in the 19. I think Tommy Lee will play at 6, did a good job last time he played there. Rumoured Hood has moved into to the 19/20 if so it strengthens my thinking that Lee will be the No 6.
