The point I was making was that in my opinion the modern hooking position is more vital to how a team functions offensively than a fullback.

And the point I'm making is that there was universal praise when we signed someone who would set Super League alight.
Both positions are very important in the modern game but we'd signed a superstar and it is only with the benefit of hindsight that you can be preferring a hooker,because the Locke signing didn't work out.
Also,you can only sign players who are available

It's got nothing to do with the fact the Locke signing didn't work out. I'd take a worldly 9 every time but that's just my opinion. I also appreciate that one may not have been available when we signed Locke. What I'm saying is if we signed one now it could make a big improvement to the team going forward.
