| Copy of an email I sent at his request last week. As yet I have not had a reply.
Hi Martin,
Nice of MK to reduce the gate price for the Wire game. I am sure this will attract additional support. This is of no benefit to the season ticket holders.(like me and several other I go to games with who stand)
I have been involved in coaching, refereeing and administration in amature RL for a number of years.(mostly in salford and Bolton) I also work in primary and secondary schools in Salford.
I no longer receive emails from the club?
The club needs to open a shop in Salford Precinct (as before) to keep a higher profile, hand out fixtures, promotions, etc. Get local amature clubs involved in weekly demo sessions at key locations like Walkden, Eccles, etc.
We are stuck with the club location but free travel from central Salford will help. Regarding schools, tournaments should be held at the outside stadium areas. Invite schools to compete on a game by game basis including 3/4 schools. This way the kids will come as they are involved in playing then fill up the empty areas of the stadium. Schools love to play each other.
A big problem is the changing fixture times, football and the team. You can do nothing about injuries but we need our best players to be role models and sort out our discipline. Although I do agree we get hammered by the RFL.
A lot of the lads have been critical about Magic. It is our home game and we have to travel, pay additional £12.50 and the other expenses involved. Some were not even bothered but I have persuaded them to make the trip.
I have said before areas like Bolton, Bury have been hardly touched for support but lets work on the core support and get them to games. I have approached the club before when I was coaching in Bolton.

| Yeah....I'm not surprised you've not had a reply....
Just to pick out a factual inaccuracy, the magic game is an extra game, not a home game.

| Why do we need a shop on Salford precinct, does anyone even go on there anymore. Yes it was once the hub of the City, but it hasn't been for around 20 years now.
Also, you cant criticise the club for reducing tickets for the Warrington game and on the other moan about attendances. I think 90% of the season ticket holders given the vote would back the £5 offer they're running.

| Agree with your point about schools tournaments. Disagree with everything else you have said!
I would love to go the magic weekend and spend a couple of day in Newcastle but it would be the mrs and not me that would need persuading.
