Quote: jools "The tackle was particularly reckless and like it or not chase could have CHOSEN to join that tackle in a different way- by tackling from the side where he was originally stood- he CHOSE to move round to the other leg- that was reckless and a deliberate choice. That deliberate choice caused an injury. Whether he intended to cause injury YOU can't possibly say- only one person truly knows. But the intention to tackle that leg was clear.
You lot and your "everyone is against us" bleating. Get over yourselves. As for harris not ranting- Nope he can't get a word in edgewise for your owner who never stops. Koukash writes his own column where he never stops ranting. But you all crow and weep and complain when a journalist blows another coaches comments out of proportion. Pathetic.'"
Jools, I agree that the Anderson's comments have been taken out of proportion, Anderson did not use the word revenge once, only the reporter did in the report. As for the tackle being intentional or not, this is up for debate but Rangi is not the brightest player in the world and probably did not realise what he was doing. There are very few players who go out on the pitch to intentionally hurt someone and personally I don't think Rangi tackled him thinking yes an opportunity here to break his ankle! It was unfortunate and he is paying the price for it.
