Quote: Early Bath "Report from Manchester Evening News
Some very poor calls went against Salford just when they were already under the hammer.
One saw him rule out a score for Scott Taylor in the first half.
Minutes later, the same kind of move produced the same kind of score for Leeds who then led 16-12 the break.
'"
Neither objective, nor correct.
I presume the first try he is referring to is the one that was ruled out for offside...you know...the one where Scott Taylor ran down the middle of the field, from an offside position to collect a ball that was hoofed high from near the half-way line...
...in which case the second one has to be the Leeds try scored from a grubber kick on the 10 metre line which was hacked on by Stevie Ward who ran from an onside position to Ash Handley who ran from an onside position and went on to score 10 metres in from the touchline.
Hardly, I would venture to say, 'the same kind of move' and certainly not 'very poor calls'.
