Quote: Talent Spotter "Is anyone really surprised? With Dobson being on a 4 year deal, he is unlikely to want to wait another 3 years before getting his hands on the number 7 shirt.
Throw into the mix an owner who is not exactly offering long term stability at the club and you can see why he would be reluctant to sign a contract extension.'"
Exactly, like i've said before you can't pick a team on who earns the most. Theo was the form halfback pre-season, Dobson should've been made to earn it back. Same with Niall and Locke also Hood and Lee. If you dont pick on form you end up with disillusioned young players who look elsewhere. Then your club is buying numerous players each year to fill the gaps. You need good club men on long contracts for stability and you have more chance with players coming through your own system.
All this said, Theo is signed up till end of 2016 so he probably just wants to wait till next season to see how things lie then. I for one don't blame him at all, its his career and he only gets one chance !!
