Quote: meast "which huddersfield fans?
we sit in the middle of that stand and thought you guys were superb, and actually helped the atmosphere, despite the fact that we had very little to sing about. atmosphere at our home games is usually pretty dire and most people commented how much it helped having away fans back in the stand.
i always preferred it when away fans were in the same stand as both sets of fans fed off each other, unfortunately some sections of some clubs' support couldn't behave themselves when mixing alcohol and being sat near home fans.'"
I was sat at the edge of Salford support, around 40m mark, wqs actually behind Morley and Waltons partners. Was Huddersfield fan, around late 50's was giving it to a steward, saying it a disgrace Salford fans were next to Hudds fans. Was pointing people out trying to get them removed, was more than likey just frustration from the performance. I also got a tongue lashing when Crabtree was down receiving treatment at some point, the ref stopped the game when he was being treated other end of field. Wasn't a head injury so I pointed out it should not of been stopped as wasn't interfering with play. Think I'll keep my thoughts to myself on Friday.
