Yep its nice to see the figures for season ticket sales increasing, however for those who work shifts etc and unfortunately have to miss the odd home game then unfortunately its not always the best option. The only way I see it for the likes of me and maybe one or two others, is say the ticket holder (if he or she is unable to attend) to be able to nominate the ticket transfer to another family member or friend for that specific game. The fee has already been paid and at least it gets another interested party through the turnstile, who just maybe, want to go again under there own steam etc.
I am going to the Warrington game and then the first home game against Saints, but I am taking 3 new faces to Salford for the first time. Can we all just try to introduce a friend for the first game, so as to generate interest and hopefully a bumper crowd.

can you not already do that?
i pass season tickets on quite a few times, when someone cant use theirs.

Mellissa has a safe pair of hands Andrew bentham too if you need something doing

Personally the club as a whole I think it's the news they are delivering to you at times if it's good or they can do something for you they are all over you like a rash or its bad or a error then it's left and hopefully you will eventually go away

The club has got better much better than the bad old days but they do still dodge. Still need to keep moving forward improving so it's the odd one or two rather than everyone

I have Season Ticket out of habit, these days with work & travel commitments it is rare I would be able to attend all games. it doesn't put me off buying the seats out of convenience but I guess it would put others off.
With the home games now spread from Thursday - Friday - Sunday it is even harder for supporters to commit to get to all the games so I'm surprised the club haven't looked at the 3- game - 5 game 7- game packages. or the ability for supporters to select games & still benefit from a discount.

I guess until we manage to edge up the attendance to 5K -7K level the actual level of actual pass holder is mute . low= low

Ref season tickets,

I dont think the seating etc has any thing to do with salford as a club.

The season tickets and match tickets are all done by the SMC and if i remember rightly Salford as a rugby club has nothing to do with the issue of tickets, that is why you dont collect your season ticket or match tickets from the club shop like we did at the willows, but collect them from the stadium., If some one would like to correct me feel free.

And what makes the season tickets even more awkward now is that we are paying for 3 or 4 games (depending where we finish the regular season) that we have no idea who we'll be playing or when, other than they will be during school holidays when many people will take holidays. In previous years people would know in December when all their season ticket games would be (give or take Sky meddling) and could plan holidays accordingly, but now you're taking a guess as to whether you'll miss games (and how many) if you book an August holiday.
