I've had my fair share of travelling to attend matches. Currently live near Walkden, so it's now going to be an easy trek for me. However, for the previous 22 years I lived in Chorley so a little more travel involved. During that 22 year period, I also had some prolonged times living and working abroad: 4 years in Madrid (2003-2007), and I "commuted" to around 20 matches over that period via Easy Jet; and 12 months in Bangkok (2013), whereby I only managed 3 matches as I tended to come back to the UK every 7 or so weeks for a week but couldn't get in-synch with the fixtures!
So, it's back to being a season ticket holder now!
Was born in Seedley, and my grandfather lived on Weaste Road. He used to work at the Willows, so my indoctrination started early!

Born down Brindle Heath, moved to Weaste drive, just of weaste lane, went to total drive primary, first season ticket 1962 when i was 5, from the age of 8 i was going to matches on my own as my dad worked nites, used to sit on the white wall on the corner of weaste lane and where they built the north stand, i remember the long red tea hut , and the cinder back at the other end before they built the willows club. used to cost 1 shilling to get in to the shed, had a turn style at either end.

Ahh those were the days, remember them well

Didn't even know we had a rugby team until I got my free Junior Devils season ticket through Hope High..... been a glutton for punishment ever since!
