| I know, can't see why. think it is what we need.
A go forward hooker, although i haven't seen Liam play so will reserve my judgement of him until I see him play

| People keep going on about Gareth Owen, i'm not gonna slag the lad off because he is a good lad.
What everyone needs to remember is in last years under 20's academy, Gareth played second fiddle to young Harry Files who went on to pick up the player of the year award. Why is nobody talking of giving Harry a go..

Owen also had to end his loan deal at Sheffield and go to Oldham because he couldn't get a game, so it doesn't seem like we're the only ones who don't think he's quite ready for the first team yet.

Isn't the reason Owen appeared to play second fiddle to Harry Files that Gareth Owen was playing in the first team instead? He made 18 appearances in 2012 and 15 in 2013. That will also be the reason people are talking about giving him a go rather than Harry Files.

| Why does everyone think Owen isn't going to be given a go? I can quite easily see Tommy Lee leaving. With Tomkins going back as well, we then would have Hood and Owen?
Am I missing something here?

| I lost track of topics while I was on holiday, but hasn't someone posted something about Lee being lined up by Hull KR?
The other player in the mix here is Theo. Whilst he will clearly be the first option to cover the halves, you would presume he wont just be sat in the stands all the time if Dobson and Chase keep fit. You'd probably expect Theo to be in the 17 most weeks able to go interchange hooker and cover the halves. That would still keep others down the pecking order.

It was me that said Lee was going to Hull kr I also claimed that Theo will be sharing the hooking role with Liam Hood all of which I was told by a Salford player wont give you his name but thats why I was positive it was the truth

| Considered one of the best hookers of the Championship, Liam Hood (Hunslet) will be the shirt of the Reds next season, while winger Francis Meli will soon announce his retirement at the end of season.
Just found on a French website.

| Apparently the reason Liam Hood left Leeds was because he had a spat with Ryan Bailey, the latter coming off the worst.
