Quote Stanley30="Stanley30"Okay so if we leave Rapira in ( although am still not convinced by him) who do you leave out? Locke (if fit, which apparently he will be) plays, he has to. Why should we rest him for winnable games? This is a marquee signing who people want to watch.Surely we are at the business end now and every game is a must win? Evalds on the bench, covers all the backs and the halves which means if you want to spell tommy Lee you can push Theo at hooker and Evalds to stand-off. Which means 3 forwards on the bench.

Jason Walton covers the back positions as well as the second row, so why have a second back on the bench? That's why, for me, Locke and Evalds is an 'either/or', not an 'and'.
As for not being sure about Steve Rapira, you need to look at the way he's playing now, not how he was at the start of the season. He came to us after spending most of the last three years lying on the treatment table. He clearly wasn't fit and was only used in short spells. Now, as he regains that fitness and the confidence in his own abilities, we're seeing what a brutal forward he is. In the old days, he would have been referred to as a 'bruiser', and we haven't had one of those since...I don't know...Dennis Boyd in the 1980s maybe.
The questions then are Locke [ior[/i Evalds, and Tommy Lee and/or Logan Tomkins. If Iestyn goes for both Tommy Lee and Logan Tomkins, one of the forwards would need to drop out, and I doubt that would be Steve Rapira. Not sure who it would be though.
I'm not too keen on having Wigan's coach on our bench, by the way.
