Not sure what H.K.R did but certainly not allowed under salary cap rules for a suspended player . Saying that it might be best to cut losses and get rid for good , i am sure the good Dr would be better thought of by admitting a mistake in signing Hock than waiting for his next brainfart

Sorry mate but you must have misread or misunderstood my post. If you go on the VT a poster called Fully says that the clip from behind that he has seen looks worse. Unless you are from the dark ages you must know that there are things nowadays called mobile phones that can actually take video clips and then post them on social media sites for other less privileged whippet owners like me to view.

Well, I stand corrected.

The only thing I can say is that there must have been mitigating circumstances we're not privvy to. Maybe something was said, maybe a different and clearer camera angle, as has been said above. The vid that was doing the rounds wasn't clear enough on its own for a seven match ban in my opinion. Well that's that one done.

For something that appears quite inconclusive on the video, I think a 7 game ban is rather draconian.

I too think the ban a tad excessive, however, let's forget the sorry affair and look forward to HKR.

Yes it's true the RFL and Doc are waving handbags, but that's all it is...

I think obviously the 7 match ban is a result of previous infringements, Hock has form for this as we all know and I'm pretty certain the RL do say that repeated similar offences carry greater punitive measures.

I think the Docs decision too not challenge might be a master stroke and help too instil the them and us mentality for quite possibly the most important 7 games in the clubs recent history. The squad can only benefit from a new focal point and giving Hock the chance too come back and make a statement (rather than hopefully giving a statement) in play off rugby would do just that.
