| Well I enjoyed that. A summary of my thoughts below;
*Warrington blew us away in the first half. They were much quicker than us at the play ball and made far to many easy yards. I think we had the ball in their half twice and bombed both opportunities, what Tommy Lee was doing throwing that pass ill never know.
*Rangi Chase lost all sense of composure and instead of holding the line, he went looking for the big hit on Ben Westwood twice and left huge gaps in our defence. I can see him frustrating the hell out of us this season with a moment of brilliance one minute and then a stupid error the next. His work for our first try was magic. Anyone see why he got binned?
*Jason Walton was our best player in the first half, debatable whether he's a centre or not but great performance.
*Second half, much better. We got in their faces, slowed their play of the balls down and sped ours up.
*We bombed three golden opportunities which we should have converted. Again a lack of composure.
*Greg Johnson came on and shown why he should be in the starting 13. Excellent pick out of the air for his try.
*Stuart Howarth was impressive during his stint, put himself about and worked very hard.
*Jake Mullaney was lively throughout and took up some excellent positions in defence.
*We had plenty of joy down the blind side with Rangi, Sa'u and Meli. Shame Sa'u doesn't look fit yet, but he showed glimpses of what he is about.
*Our forwards looked big and tough. Tasi again was the stand out for me, but Griffin, Puletua and Walne were equally impressive. I don't think anyone is going to bully us this season.
*Not many teams will nil Warrington at home in the second this season.
*It was a friendly and in the first 40 Warrington shown us the level we need to aspire too, however I felt we came out in the second half and were the better team. We were unlucky to lose tonight and should have won, I hope the boys take plenty of positives from that.
*Great away support from our fans.

| After a slow first half I came away happy. The thing that needs working on for me is our defence around the ruck, far to slow.
On a bright note Chase and Smith were doing things with the ball the Wire half backs could only dream of, fair enough not all of them came off but in the conditions it was a joy to see.
Considering there nailed on by most for top 4 and we stil have the likes of Hock, Rapira and Gleeson to come into the side im even more optimistic about a top 6 finish than I originally thought.
One more thing, while the likes of Mose Masoe at saints and Pettyborn at Wigan have been gettin raved about (due to the world cup) I think the real gem out of them all might be our very own Lama Tasi, the guy doesnt take a backward step and his defence is rock solid, got a good engine on him to. Exciting times ahead for sure!!

| Was amusing to see Warrington resorting to drop goal attempts in an attempt to close the game out, in a friendly, vs last years bottom of the league side.

| With a few impact players still to come into the side, we've got to be pretty happy at the way things are progressing.
