Aren't signings from RU exempt from the salary cap ?

If ive read the story correct , SBW is not returning to yawion till 2015 season,

We still mite have a chance of 1 season with him if the good Dr can find away to do it.

If not at the age of 31 he is not to old when his 2 year contract has finished anyway.

Sbw has already signed with roosters for the 2014 season, and on a very big deal too. I doubt very much it's happening now.

After 2016, who knows, but if he's an ru World Cup and Olympic 7 gold medal winner, it's gonna take at least half the cap!

The salary cap is 600,000 less than it was in 2006, when you bring into consideration inflation, and inspite of the dr's talk, I've heard other chairman make the same noise in that time, Moran at Warrington and McManus at Saints in particular. Until the decision makers decide to work for the top end and dragging the bottom end up instead of dragging the top end down, nothing will change.

I wouldn't be surprised to see sbw in super league, and he's not opposed to it (he agreed terms with saints in 2004 (I think) before he told the press about it and we pulled out) but it will require a team to clear out a lot ...
