| Also if you come down to the final you will find that it is free to park.

| Cracking game last night. Very much in the balance until inside the last 10 minutes. Credit to both side for really having a go - some big hits went in from both sides.

| Well done to the Academy, great season finished off in true style.
My MoM would have been the Salford 11, Heaton, he was outstanding and capped off his fine performance with a long range try.
Well done to all the team and coaches last night, and to all the players who have performed throughout the season in this outstanding squad.

Ken Gill could make the ball talk.: |

| I thought last night's game was excellent. Featherstone looked very good and we were only certain of victory in the last few minutes. The game had a real intensity about it and was played in an excellent spirit. There were some really good performances from some of our youngsters and from a Salford fan's point of view it was the perfect end to a great day.
With all the hype about the new signings, it is perhaps worth reflecting that Alan Hunte has given us such a lot in recent years and he tends to fly under the radar a little bit. He stepped up to the mark as Acting Head Coach and didn't let us down when he gave quite a few kids valuable Super League experience. I thought we played some good rugby with him in charge. Perhaps more importantly he is assembling a very talented group of youngsters who have stepped up to the mark in our squad this season to help suggest that the future is indeed bright. For example, I thought it significant that Brian Noble mentioned the Walnes as players we were retaining first on his list yesterday in one of his interviews. Other U20s have shown that they are ready for the first team too. Alan Hunte deserves massive credit for beginning to set up proper youth structures and finding the players with potential who can take us onwards and upwards. Thank you, Alan!

| What next for the U20s now do you think? Step back up to SL Academy level? Go full time along with the first team?

| Should be in SL Academy next year, they only missed out this year due to uncertainties over their existence didn't they?
