He was shot in both arms , and both legs. He later died because of his injuries. Tommy 25th March 2007.
Salford City Reds are the National League Champions again and nobody will ever win a Grand Final more dramatically than this. Division One champions, Grand Final winners, winners of the Northern Rail Cup; everything their hearts desired. Down and out? Not a bit of it, they are never out. Memories are made of this forever and a day, Salford fans will ask "where did you watch the 2008 Grand Final? A question for the Wakefield fans: do the club own the stadium, and will they own (or have a stake in) Newmarket?
The reason I ask is because Warrington use the Halliwell Jones to generate income for the club, and with the money Marwan is spending, we need all the sources of income we can get. I wonder if there'll be some announcement about the stadium on Thursday.

Cheers. The lesson to be learned from your (and our) experience, then, is to own the stadium. Renting appears to present huge problems, unless you can get crowds the size of Wigan's. |
