Gets me very excited but and there's always a but will most of us not be at work at midday on the 5th why can't it be in the evening when maybe most of us can attend

Sounds like this is more of a Media/sponsors Launch, Fans launch will be before the Widnes home game on the 6th.

I presume you're less likely to get the media, sponsors and potential sponsors in the evening - and let's face it, the important thing here is about getting the word out across the city and region rather than to a couple of hundred existing fans.

Already have it booked off work and my place confirmed. It's also meant to be the U20's final later that night, could be a cracking day all round.

Because it's a PRESS conference, not a FANS conference. It's during working hours because that is when most of the press work. Apart from match days of course

I have today ordered two tickets for the Red revolution on 5th September
One for me and a neighbour (ex fan) who become disillusioned years ago, hopefully this will re- ignites his passion and this event will encourage old and new supporters!! lets see the ground full next year!!

It's a mid day 'presser' in much the same way the buyout Media day was done ,
Sponsors / Press and other interested parties ( Potential new sponsors / lapsed sponsors )were sorted last week.
they obviously want to give the opportunity to allow some fans to be there as well which is good.

They'll get Radio - Local TV - National & RL trade papers there so we get max coverage for that weekend - following week,

No doubt they'll get a vid of the highlights on proceedings out soon after .
all positive to me.

Off next Thursday so emithered for tickets so hopefully I'll be able to attend.

Flying out to America that morning, but reckon I'll be paying to use the in-flight WiFi and keeping myself updated!
