I must admit I havent heard or seen much from FR recently, can anyone involved give me an idea of what the aims were for this season with regards to assisting the club?

A little bit of a swerve but can anyone tell what happened with the money that was raised by the fans before the Doc took over? There was a decent sum so hope it went onto something worthwhile.
You'd hope that maybe if there's money that going towards helping the new French kid was an option.
The Doc is complaining about not being able to spend enough money; ergo there's no way that any kind of 'charitable' group should be subsidising the club's day to day operation.
If FR has a war chest it would be better spent on community initiatives.

Warrington are pretty flush but have this going on - www.squadbuilder.co.uk/sqbwhat.asp (which does also clearly include community initiatives).
As for the other questions on this thread. FR will be hosting an open fans meeting with Dave Matthews in a few weeks - details to be finalised. Hopefully this can also will lead into discussions about the fans can help the club/academy/etc.
As Company Secretary I can't answer re the "pre-takeover" fundraising as that was not official Forever Reds business.
