I think the mentality of some supporters at other clubs is . . how dare Salford have an ambitious, wealthy owner now and be competing to sign the best players, they are Salford and they have a place.

However, for me it underlines how fractured our sport has become recently. You used to be able to say that all the cliches were true. Family sport, every one gets on, greatest game on earth. The reality now just shows how far we've gone against all the things we loved about RL. Fans snipe at each other. The RFL get more and more senile, and we talk of excluding teams and people because it doesn't suit our agenda. The reaction to Koukash is a prime example. The sport isn't exactly overflowing with individuals willing and trying to change how things are done. Sure, he's a character, but he's deadly serious. Surely the RL community should be happy that new money will filter through to their Clubs and eventually benefit RL as a whole? It seems that most like things just the way they are, and that's a shame.

The most bizarre aspect of this is that the numbnut has seen fit to resurrect a three month old thread just to get his pointless point across. Has this idea been gestating in his nano-brain all that time?
