Not entirely up to date on the immigration/citizenship thing but has anyone taken into consideration that chase is recently married to an English woman and they have an English child born this year!
surely any chance of him being sent back to whichever south sea island he was born in is now impossible. I do know that if you marry a person from the EU they cant be deported after visas have expired (providing the marriage isn't fake or a sham) laws me be different for people outside of the EU

I'm not saying it isn't true, and if it is there'll obviously be consequences. It just seems like strange timing to come out and say it now.

Why not go public when they supposedly first came to find out about it and name and shame?

By coming out with this a day after selling Smith to us kind of just looks like double standards, as if to say: 'Yeah, we think you've tried to tap up some of our players but we want your money, so we'll let you buy him and then complain about it in the press a day after the deal's been done".

Should be interesting what happens going forward anyway.

I think you're getting the response of a frustrated coach rather than the club's official line. I can understand how Agar must feel after putting together a competitive side and then seeing things fall apart.

That was my other thought. This probably would have been in the pipeline for at least a few weeks and any comment like this before it happened might have jeopardised a deal being done.

We experienced the same thing last season obviously in terms of losing multiple players. Whether any of them had had their heads turned, who knows...You can guarantee it's happened with some of our players and numerous players from other teams in the past, and will probably continue to do so. You only need to look at the article Robbie Savage did a couple of weeks ago about transfers in football (www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23703265) to see what goes on, and it wouldn't surprise me if the same sort of 'tactics' applied in our sport as well.

Think Agar was having a rant or what the Aus press affectionately call a spray.

I'm sue Westerman knew instinctively he wanted to sign for Hull FC mid contract and Jordan Turner ' stopped playing ' for Salford months before clubs were legally allowed to approach out of contract players , when Agar was in charge of Hull .
what goes around .. eh

It's a load of bitter nonsense, just like the various posts from Cas fans on Twitter last night. Salford, the club and fans, should know our place.
