| Quote: Handy Andy "I've been sitting on my hands since Sunday but after reading posts from a variety of places, I need to join in.
Dr Koukash is an academic. As such, he should have the nouse to check his sources to establish the truth of what happened.
I watched him walk to the West Stand to placate his supporters and the view from where I was, was 'Respect'. So much so, that when he walked back to his place in the stands, we applauded him.
Reading what he said to the press left me astounded and all respect has been withdrawn.
Some people feel that all publicity is good publicity but I disagree. In this case, stating that 'we don't want this in 'our lovely game'', really angered me.
Surely bringing this situation to the national press helps to damage 'our lovely game'.
With respect to Dr Koukash, he has been in 'our lovely game' for less than five minutes and if he continues with his ill thought out soundbites, he will bring 'our lovely game' into disrepute.
This is the kind of publicity we really don't need.
My OH and I were considering buying season tickets for next year, alongside our Warrington tickets. We now have to think again
He admitted on the Monday even his mistake has since made an unreserved apology to the player in question ( Ben Westwood ) which we're told has been accepted. We had certain radio stations and news agencies still rehashing 2 day old soundbites as news. don't be too harsh on him . If your player has accepted the apology & moved on ..

Over an incident that's been blown out of all proportion and been apologised for? There's more important things to take into consideration, surely?
As for the incident itself, I hope those who lied to Koukash will be dealt with accordingly.

32990_1435324474.jpg First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_32990.jpg |

Free tickets for the remainder of the year would be adequate punishment I think. ![Smile icon_smile.gif](images/smilies//icon_smile.gif)
