I'm with Red League on this one, don't rate him much apart from when he plays against us. If we are going to be serious contenders, players like Hanbury aren't going to set the place on fire. Predictably, Widnes fans who were saying, they weren't too fussed as they can get someone for better money, will now be gloating, saying he was never going anyway etc. Just hope we have learned our lessons from playing Widnes on the last two occasions and letting him run riot. Seems everyone has a stormer when they play us or on the other hand just shows how poor we are.

Having seen how easily he went round our defence at our place last year, and at Halton a few weeks ago, I really hope some of the above comments don't come back to bite us on the wide open spaces on Sunday...

Come on mate just because the team we support are bottom of the super league table doesn't mean we haven't got eyes! Hanbury is an average-good player if we're to move on to the next level challenging Leeds Wigan and wire we need a class above him.

Good player Hanbury and is better than what we have at the moment. I doubt we were ever in for him though!

Scoring try's doesn't always mean your a brilliant player, prime example Luke Dorn top try scorer for both Salford and London but is an awful RL player

If you think we can go from bottom to top instantly you must be mad, we will have a couple/few seasons where we are breaking into the top 8 first then top 5,, where a player like Hanbury would help us along nicely.

I'm as optimistic as most but some of our fans on here are becoming embarrassing proclaiming we are going to be challenging the big 4 within the next 18 months or so. Take a step back and be realistic.
