When I joined the gym when it opened, I was told that Salford do not use it for 2 reasons. 1, was that they expected to get it for free and were not interested in paying to use the facilities and 2, that with limited space, to have 30 players plus coaches etc would severely restrict access to paying members, so they declined.

I would of declined it too if I was in charge at Salford why would you want members of the public getting in the way of weight sessions. And plus we need our own gym anyway, carrington is perfect!

The team do use the gym, go in on a Sunday morning about 10:30 and there's a troupe of players in recovery in their working on various aspects of fitness around the injury they are carrying.

Then we will have the same problem City have.
