| Chase strikes me as a difficult character to control both on & off the field.
His prediliction for both brilliance & idiocy in the same game was evident in his last game against us.
You get the feeling that there is alot of activity behind the scenes but I'd prefer Dobson , an organiser in the Dunneman mold.
With rumours that Sandercock's contract won't be renewed at the end of the season , Dobson & Patterson would be higher on my list than Chase.

| Don't know if he has any kids born here, but if so, could be using the Human Rights Act, after all suspected terrorists and convicted criminals have used it to remain in this Country. Should be interesting if true.

| Still don't get this Myler is hated for joining Warrington, yet Ratchford is treated as some sort of hero for doing the same. Forget how or why they left, the fact is they both were leaving before their contracts expired and we all knew that. For what it is worth, I don't hold any grudges against either of them and would be more than happy to see either, or both back at the club.

| Oh come on Bill, the difference is quite clear - Stef Ratchford kept playing and giving 100% until the day he went - can you honestly say that about Myler?
Very similar comparison between David Hodgson and Luke Robinson too.
We all accept that players move on, and in the situation that Salford were in for the last few years who could blame any player for going after a better offer - BUT there's a right and a wrong way to leave!

| Young kids do daft things, I am sure both Myler and Robinson would do things differently with hindsight. The point I was trying to make was they left to better themselves and nobody should blame them for that. As I said in my post they both knew they were leaving. The why is subjective, only they know the real reason, the common myth is that Tony Smith turned Myler's head, and McRae didn't like Ratchford. May be true, but who really knows. Result is the same they both left to join a better club with prospects of winning trophies. Without the Dr we would have had little prospects of survival, never mind winning anything.
