You'd hope they put a Gatesheadesque score on them. Not a fan of wholesale resting of first team players, they are professional athletes and unless carrying a knock the best players should be playing each week. We now have the link with Oldham so the old line about testing fringe players for me shouldn't apply any longer. Full strength team all pulling their tripes out to impress there new head coach.

Hope also the club foster a decent relationship with them as Rugby is big down there and there does seem to be a few connections with Salford already, you never know they may unearth a hidden gem from Gloucester RU's overspill.

You'd hope it'd be a pretty big score for the good of our team. It's no fun though watching try after try after try (unless it's against another SL team), a good low(ish)-scoring close game is better every time - although it'd be borderline embarrassing on Sunday considering how much further down the league system they are.

I would prefer a comfortable win. Let us think about the opposition. An embryonic club who are attempting to expand the great game outside the M62 corridor. We don't want their enthusiasm dented at this stage. Now 50 points on Cas would be another thing.....

I think before people start getting giddy about record scores, they need to be clear about what type of team we put out. I do not think the under 20's are playing this weekend, we could have a fair sprinkling of youngsters in the team.
