Quote: northmanchesterdevil "Surely it's public transport links that need to be created as well? Who wants to drive to a game really? It's about having a few scoops with your mates isn't it? As i've already stated on here in the past, Bolton Wanderer's car park used to be an absolute pain to get off, but after a couple of seasons they learned how to manage it and now it's fine. But added to this they have 40 ish match busses every game which are always pretty full, serving about 10 different routes. I think they charge £3 return from anywhere along the route.'"
The question that needs to be asked is not what suits the existing 2000.
It's not what the existing 2000 feel new supporters should put up with.
And it's certainly not what was good enough in the last century.
We are looking at new supporters.
These days some people want to park at the ground and, like The Reebok,it's much improved at our stadium.
But,some want to use public transport so that needs to be addressed.
So,which part do the Club need to get right ??
Every part.
Give them time and they will.
