I guess while we are in 'limbo' waiting for the new coach to be announced this is a reasonable distraction.
Fwiw, my choices are: David Watkins, Paul Charlton and Chris Hesketh.

I'd go with those 3 plus Maurice Richards, Colin Dixon and Kenny Gill,to start with.
However,as they're all from the same team we need perspective so you have to go back to Gus Rismans team plus Jack Brennan.
I think it's important to start with a legend that's still alive as he can help launch it.
On that basis it has to be Watkins.

Surprised that Rutcho hasn't been mentioned.
If you think of someone who wasn't at the club for a massive length of time but became a true Salford legend with his 100% commitment to the cause you'll struggle over the past couple of decades to think of anyone more worthy than Rutcho.
