Unbelievably harsh on Vievers after holding it all together for the last 12 months. The good Doctor may want his own man, someone recommended by Westy, but I certainly hope when the new man comes in he gets time to move things forward. The last thing we need it to become the Chelski of rugby league.

Harsh but inevitable, if not this soon. Leaves the question of who will take us to the end of the season if we are presuming a new long term man will be approached for the start of next season.

Feel a bit sorry for him really, he's had to put up with a lot during his time here, beginning with McRae, then Parrish, and then all our financial problems. His position was always going to come under scruting with the new management though, and I think it was inevitable that he'd end up being sacked - didn't think it'd be this soon though.

I think we must already have somebody lined up, I don't think he'd have been sacked if we hadn't.
