| Yes he is just stupid. He said we could not afford him under the salary cap as we would just have him and three others. How does he think Wigan do it with a load more stars on their books - we are all supposede to be working under the same cap are we not?

| The only noise I want to hear Stevo make is his final breath - lamentable cock with a massive lack of talent.

| We are all working to the same salary cap but it's 65% oc club turnover can be spent on wages so the amount Salford currently have available on the cap (Down to attendances I would guess) will be less than what Leeds, Wigan, Wire ETC can spend.
The Doc can pay transfer fees but wages must still be within the 75% turnover of the club

World Cup winner including scoring a try in the final, 150+ NRL appearances, championship winner = massive lack of talent??
Someone has seriously high standards.

Great player at a time when there were plenty of them but a poor, very poor commentator and I think that it is the last point that people are unhappy with.

I wouldn't take much notice of that. I'm sure there will be some kind of Etihad Airways sponsorship deal in the pipeline.

And a man who has kept a museum about the sport going at the George Hotel almost single-handedly. He is a rubbish commentator who shouts too much but he's rugby league through and through and deserves better than Michigan Red's comment. His performance at the Wigan v Bath cross code match in 1996 was enough to secure him a life time of respect from me '100 points for 100 years of separation.'
If you are that bothered by him turn off the sound.

No I meant him as a broadcaster for which I see him as having zero talent.

| Wishing death on someone because they are a cack commentator? Classy as ever.
If that's the criteria then not many sports would have many commentators these days.

| It demonstrates quite well why Stevo is bad for the image of the game though. Instead of talking it up as unlikely but positive, in the context of a smaller team trying to upset the established order of things and bring some positive PR to the sport he has just rubbished it. If you're a casual viewer (or even a regular fan of the sport) what kind of image does that present?
He may have achieved a lot as a player but in his current career he is damaging the sport and should be put out to pasture quickly.
