Yes he is just stupid. He said we could not afford him under the salary cap as we would just have him and three others. How does he think Wigan do it with a load more stars on their books - we are all supposede to be working under the same cap are we not?

It demonstrates quite well why Stevo is bad for the image of the game though. Instead of talking it up as unlikely but positive, in the context of a smaller team trying to upset the established order of things and bring some positive PR to the sport he has just rubbished it. If you're a casual viewer (or even a regular fan of the sport) what kind of image does that present?

He may have achieved a lot as a player but in his current career he is damaging the sport and should be put out to pasture quickly.

Besides, if mods warned/banned posters for saying someone has zero talent there wouldn't be many posters on RLFans.

I'm also loving the fact that you've made yourself honorary spokesperson for the Scarlet Turkey forums declaring that we all require mods to look at a nothing post on our behalf.

As for being ashamed, maybe you should look at the things you've said about members of our Club, players, staff, and reasonable forum posters in the past and climb down off your soapbox.

I don't think its reasonable to wish someone arm,if you do that's your prerogative.I don't think Stevo is good for

I agree with your sentiment, but i wouldn't class MR's post as anything but tongue in cheek. I don't think there is malice or anything overly bad to get excited about. As for Stevo, you're right, he was a good player. Very much a modern Hooker in his day. The only fault I have with Stevo is he's too quick to offer opinion and will always bias what he says based on his personal feelings. He's not paid for that. He's paid to offer a decent commentary on a RL game.
