I have read he wants some / part of £ owed to council waived + to buy the stadium. If this is so will there have to be a full debate + vote by Salford Council? If so how long does it take to arrange these votes?

If Kennedy was in a position to do so, he probably already would have. Although I could see him far from happy at the prospect of contributing financially to our coffers so could try to wrangle some kind of deal with Dr K/Peel/Council.

The Dr himself was confident enough to call a press conference and say things were pretty close to being done. It does not strike me that someone with his business eye would do anything like that if there was going to be a spanner in the works from Sale.

I may be wrong and we'll see.
