Don't want to jump the gun or tempt fait, but does anyone have a clue who these potential signings are, up to ten players are linked?

At last year's GF a Fax fan told me Sam Barlow was nailed on as signing for us. He appears to still be at Fax so anyone know if this is a possibility? I'm guessing any previous agreement (if true) was scrapped due to the financial.issues but would this be resurrected if our finances get sorted?

Apparently he turned us down, opting to stay at Fax. However he does have a SL get out clause and may see better career prospects under a new Salford regime [size(if it all goes through)[/size.

I do and I don't want to lose him; he is a 6 but because of injuries he had, he has only been given the odd chance at centre as cover. he has more raw talent than Lomas or Gaskell IMO.

ben jefferies is one i heard off a few players, poss ryan mcgoldrick, a few 1st division names too who i wasnt too sure about, also the platt move likely to be back on along with karl pryce from what i believe, these are however if a takeover deal will be complete
