That is my understanding of the club's intention.

That's what I'm trying to work out. I don't know why you'd opt not to field in SL unless there was a reason to play in the Champs (ie, if the age groups are different)

SL clubs decide to scrap U20 and U18 and replace with just one U19 team to save money. It appears championship teams will be U20s, but bizarly I am hearing that when Leigh, Fax, Keighley and one other play each other in the U20s league, they will be U23 games....WTF. The game is in a mess especially with the new 'twinning agreements'. What happens if those teams are drawn together in the CC for example.

The 19s were meant to be playing the other super league teams but due to the financial restraints on the club they were unable to have 20 players registered by deadline date thus getting no super league fixtures, I believe they are appealing this in January and are hoping to be reinstated, if not they will play championship teams, that's my understanding.

Championship U20's fixtures published , at present we are due to play York away on Saturday 2nd March
1st home fixture for U20's is V South Wales Scorpions on the 16th March followed by Rochdale on the 23rd.
