| I attach my question to the Chairman, I am not able to attend as I cannot change other arrangements. It will be interesting to see if it is answered.
The Chairman is on record as stating Salford have a 'short term cash problem' but after that we have solid plans which are viable and vetted. Will Mr. Wilkinson yell us the amount of the temporary short fall, presumably it is not he £1.5m loans requested. If we know the amount it will be easier to plan fund raising efforts and would not the issue of season tickets go a long way to meeting the gap? Do the 'solid plans' include the signing of new players?

rlI haven't read the storyrl'"
The hole just keeps getting deeper, don't worry though Wilky will get The Bradshaws and Forever Reds to try and raise the money.
Nine bent note as bob.....

| Why would Patten take out a second Winding Up Petition? he would simply amend the existing one if the debt had increased
Then consider that there is a requirement to check if a petition exists before you can present any new petition.
An ill formed Swinton fan enjoying our problems, who would have thought it.

Here's the full story acknowledgemt to www.thebusinessdesk.com
FORMER Salford City Reds player Luke Patten has lodged a winding-up petition against the club.
Mr Patten had already attached himself to another petition, filed by the management consultant Steuer Gregsson in October, along with another former player, Vinnie Anderson.
The club has already reached an agreement with Steuer Gregsson and last month it said the dispute with the players was linked to payments owed by the end of November which, "will be made on time and in advance of the second court date" on January 7.
Mr Patten's lawyers lodged the new petition on December 14 and it is due to be heard on January 7. It is not clear if this confirms his original desire to chase the debt, or indicates he was not paid by the November deadline. Mr Anderson does not appear to have lodged his own petition.
Both the club and Mr Patten's law firm, Leeds-based FrontRow Legal, could not be reached for comment.
