This is in direct contrast to an article in yesterdays "Sun" (wouldn't listen to them to much) where they stated the haggling was still over a loan and the new owners wanting the old owners to cover the debt.

In one sense whilst I don't agree with the council spending money owning a Rugby club it may in the long term benefit Swinton if they do prop up Salford.
